From the organisers....If you haven’t tried a trail run yet, then Tracton Woods Trail Run on 10 th May is an ideal opportunity to get off the roads and out this 7km route weaves its way
around the tracks and trails in the woods.

Tracton Woods is just a half an hour from Cork City (10 minutes from Carrigaline) and is a popular spot for orienteering and mountain biking. The woods is between Minane Bridge and Ballyfeard.
This route is perfect to those who are new to trail running and is suitable for all levels of ability. It is also a chance to bring the whole family as there is a junior race for 10 – 16 year olds and a free non-competitive run (accompanied) for kids under 10
The run is part of a wider series of runs taking place across Munster this summer. As part of the Munster Trail League there will be a trail race somewhere in Munster for 14 consecutive Wednesday evenings from 10th May through to 9th August.
