Results & Photos of the Kilworth Charity 5k fun run/walk...Sun 16th Feb 2014

This 5 km charity fun run/walk was held in Kilworth on Sunday the 16th of February with the aim of raising funds for the education of children with special needs.

Here is a statement from Tom Flynn, the chairperson of Fermoy Action Children's Education...

On behalf of the F.A.C.E. Committee I would like to thank the following people first of all to all the people who turned out yesterday Sunday 16th Feb to support Fermoy Macra Na Feirme Fundraiser in aid of ourselves F.A.C.E (Fermoy Action Children's Education) to all the runners, walkers we would like to thank you most sincerely for your loyal support. A great day had by all and the weather wasn't too bad either. I would like to also acknowledge and thank our sponsors:

I would like to also include our own committee member who worked hard on it as well over the last number of weeks, especially Mag Flynn, Natasha Flynn for all their work on the administration side and there was a lot of work involved, Committee members Mariska Smit, Pat Canning, Des White, Darragh Wiley F.A.C.E member and Mallow A/C for all his help and advice over the last number of weeks.
